It all began in a quaint barn in rural Iowa in 1977. A small group of dedicated craftsmen came together to create long-lasting cabinets that were as beautiful as they were functional. Since then, our facilities may have changed but our tradition of crafting exceptional cabinets that last has not. Continuing to use hand-selected woods, top-of-the-line hardware and hand-applied techniques, our extended family of craftsmen continue to build furniture-quality cabinets that are customized to meet any need, period.

Made in America by craftsmen in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Custom cabinetry is a complex product that requires attention to hundreds of details. In contrast, our guiding principles are few but powerful.

ACPI manufactures and distributes kitchen and bath cabinets throughout the United States under the Echelon Cabinetry and Advanta Cabinets brand names. The introduction of Echelon Cabinetry and Advanta Cabinets complete acpi’s conversion from Armstrong Cabinets, which was purchased in October, 2012, by American Industrial Partners (AIP) and taken private.

In 1980, Young Furniture was launched in a 5,000 square-foot mill building in Manchester, NH. In the beginning, many furniture items, such as desks, trestle tables, dry sinks, coffee tables and dressers, were our featured products made out of solid pine. In 1986, the business outgrew the old drafty mill building and land was purchased in nearby Bow.
